9 And God said: 'Let the waters under the heaven be gathered together unto one place, and let the dry land appear.' And it was so.
10 And God called the dry land Earth, and the gathering together of the waters called He Seas; and God saw that it was good.

The third act of witchcraft occurred on the third day.  But, unlike the previous two, it does not take the whole day.  Two acts occur on the third day.  The traditional Hebrew day begins in the evening, ending with sundown.  If we assume each act took half a day, this act occurred in the Night.  Since this was before the creation of the Sun, Moon, and stars, this occurred in the pure Darkness, in which there was no Light.  This act is the second act out of Darkness.

The next thing to notice is that G-d doesn't separate the Waters to bring about dry land, he gathered the Waters together.  In the previous act, he separated waters, and it wasn't good, so now he gathers the waters.

Here is also the fourth and fifth namings.  In many Celtic traditions, there aren't four elements like many western beliefs.  There are three elements: Land, Sea, and Sky.  The first two namings defined time.  The next three define place.  The Heavens is Sky.  Land is Earth.  Seas are Sea.  Earth is the same word as in the first verse of Genesis.

The final point is that after Earth and Sea are created, it is good.  Earth and Sea complete the Heavens.
